Who is
Resolve Law
Group?

Resolve Law Group is a small, specialist law firm founded by Principal Solicitor, Mark Meoni, and Practice Group Leader, Brett Cook. Having worked in personal injury law for decades they saw a growing need to bring a more personal and caring service to people who’ve been seriously injured in non-fault accidents.

Unlike their competitors, Mark and Brett handle every claim personally, getting to know their clients on an individual level to achieve the best outcomes. Work is never delegated to juniors. The partners aim to visit clients in their own homes, where possible, building trusting and lasting relationships that support people from initial claim right through to maximum compensation.

Mark Meoni

Principal Solicitor

Since my admission to the legal profession in 2013, I have dedicated myself wholeheartedly to personal injury law, specialising in providing expert counsel and representation for individuals facing challenging circumstances. I understand the profound impact that personal injury can have on individuals and their families. That’s why I approach each case with empathy and dedication, guiding clients through every step of the legal process with clear communication and personalised attention.

My expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of personal injury matters – the establishment of Resolve Law Group comes after 7 years of managing CTP claims for a premier firm. My reputation as a bulldog underscores my fierce protection of client rights and my commitment to securing maximum compensation for those I represent.
My approach is centred on thorough preparation, rigorous attention to detail, and strategic thinking. I meticulously assess each case, identifying strengths and weaknesses to craft effective legal strategies tailored to the unique circumstances of my clients. This approach not only ensures robust representation but also instils confidence in clients that their best interests are always at the forefront.

I am admitted in the Supreme Court of NSW and am an active member of the NSW Law Society.

FAQs

When should I contact Resolve Law Group?
If you’ve had an accident that wasn’t your fault, needed time off to recover, or had any sort of treatment, we’re listening. Tell us your story and we’ll see if we can help.
As much as possible. We are experts at achieving maximum settlement figures because we know personal injury law inside and out.
Depending on the complexity and seriousness of your injury, your claim can take between 12-36 months to resolve. Statutory timeframes and lengthy disputes can often be frustrating and daunting. Our pledge to you though is to proactively manage your claim, leave no stone unturned and deliver maximum outcomes as quickly and effectively as possible.
You won’t pay anything upfront. Our ‘no win, no fee’ promise means exactly that. Whether we negotiate a settlement with an insurance company or need to fight for you in court, you only pay once we have won the case for you.
We aren’t like huge law firms where you’re just another case number. You’ll deal directly with the lawyer fighting your claim and have their individual attention every step of the way. Our small team has decades of experience both prosecuting and defending personal injury claims. We make it our personal mission to fight for your cause.
What does a mortgage broker do?
A mortgage broker acts as an intermediary between you and potential lenders, helping you find a mortgage that best fits your financial situation. They assess your needs, compare loan options from different lenders, and guide you through the application process whilst acting in the best interests of you, the borrower.
Mortgage brokers can access multiple lenders and loan products, offering a wider range of options. They may also negotiate better rates and terms on your behalf, potentially saving you time and money compared to working directly with a bank.
Mortgage brokers are usually paid by the lender when your loan is implemented (or ‘settled’), meaning there is often no cost to you.
When a broker pre-qualifies you, they may conduct a soft credit check, which doesn’t impact your score. However, once you apply for a mortgage, lenders will perform a hard credit inquiry, which can have a temporary impact on your score.
Look for a broker with a good reputation, positive client reviews, and experience in the type of loan you need. Word of mouth from our long list of clients is one of the best forms of feedback and recognition we at L5 Finance pride ourselves on.
Be prepared to provide documentation of your income, employment history, credit history, assets, and any liabilities. This helps the broker understand your financial situation and find the most appropriate mortgage options for you.
Yes, a mortgage broker can assist in finding lenders that specialise in working with borrowers who have less-than-perfect credit. They may also suggest ways to improve your credit score before applying for a mortgage.
If your application is denied, a mortgage broker can help you understand the reasons why and suggest alternative lenders or loan products. They may also provide guidance on improving your financial profile for future applications.
